Meetings of Slovenian consuls
In 2014, Vladislav Burda initiated the establishment of a diplomatic community united around the Republic of Slovenia and invited the honorary consuls of Slovenia in the neighboring countries of Georgia, Armenia and Moldova to join it.
The Embassy of Slovenia in Kiev headed by Nataša Prah, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia in Ukraine, is accredited in the countries listed above.
Honorary consuls are people chosen by the Embassy and government of Slovenia supporting and promoting cultural and economic ties between their countries and Slovenia and representing Slovenian interests at home. They are proponents of Slovenian goods, resorts, companies and culture and at the same time they also demonstrate the spirit and capabilities of their homelands to their Slovenian partners.
The first meeting of this kind was held in March in Odessa at the honorary consulate of Slovenia on the territory of the RedHead central office. The second forum took place in November in Kharkov, where another honorary consul of the Republic of Slovenia, Anatoly Bondarenko, works. Just like RedHead, his company is a member of FBN-Ukraine.
The Slovenian consuls plan to meet in Batumi and Kiev in 2015.
